A while back, news came out that Pokemon developer GameFreak was working with publisher SEGA on a new digital title. SEGA and GameFreak have announced the finalized release date for their collaboration, Tembo the Badass Elephant: July 21.

The game is a unique departure from the developer’s previous works, as it features a badass command elephant who is the only one that can stand up to the evil Phantom Army. The game features 18 action filled levels, packed with charm and cleverly designed platforming action all wrapped in a unique art style with a tongue-in-cheek humour that encapsulates classic console mascot games, with a nod towards 80’s action movies.

Tembo the Badass Elephant will be releasing on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on July 21 in both North America and Europe for £9.99/$14.99/€12.99. Those who pre-purchase the game on Steam will receive a 10% discount, and the PS4 and Xbox One will receive the same 10% discount in the form of a launch discount.
