Passing judgment on headphones is a pretty good job but like any other, it comes with some less pleasant tasks day to day tasks. One of these more burdensome responsibilities is when a $30-$40 dollar pair of earbuds drop on my desk for a review. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that the companies making these pairs aren’t doing the best they can, it’s that there is only so much you can do if you’re aiming for such a low price point.
