If You’re Looking for a Larger Dive Watch, Look No Further

The new Orient King Diver Revival celebrates a vintage design from 1965 in a 43.88mm package.

Orient, one of the mainstays of the Japanese watch industry, is turning 70 this year, which means we can expect fun anniversary models with in-house movements, utilitarian designs, and best of all, affordable price tags.

The first of these, which is housed within Orient’s Revival Collection of vintage-inspired designs, is the Orient King Diver Revival. A reissue and upgrade of the brand’s 1965 Weekly Auto Orient King Diver, this oversized dive watch features a 43.8mm stainless steel case (a millimeter larger than the original), 20mm lug width, dual crowns and an inner rotating dive bezel. And though the original boasted only 40m of water resistance, this upgraded version is good down to 200m.
