Design & Build Quality
The body of the band is made of aluminum and the rest of the band is plastic the strap is made of TPU plastic that does not irritate my skin the bottom of the watch as the PPG and the ECG sensor. The design of the fitness tracker is very attractive and appealing. You will find a small patch of Aluminum just below the 0.42 OLED display.
This Aluminum patch is very interesting and gives new look to the Amazfit 1S fitness band. The Amazfit 1S is available in only Black color and Aluminum finish comes in two color Black, Golden. Both of them are very good and attractive as well.
The rubber strap doesn’t irritate your skin and made with the TPU material which makes it super light. Like other fitness bands, you can’t change the band because it is not detachable.
Display
The Amazfit 1S have the 0.48 inches of OLED display. The display size is too small and you will not see to much content on it. On the screen, you can see notifications as Call reminder, massage, alarm, heart rate, pedometer and more.
It looks okay because fitness bands aren’t supposed to look dazzling anyway, but the brightness level is really low meaning that you can hardly see the screen in sunlight. You can not select the brightness level because it’s adaptive. I hope it will be improved in next firmware update of the Amazfit 1S.
ECG Chip (Electrocardiogram)
The recently Apple has launched the series 4 watch with the ECG feature and users are really like that. But not everyone can afford the Apple watch so here we have Amazfit 1S with the ECG feature. The affordable ECG feature of the watch is the main selling point of Amzfit 1s.
The ECG chip that gives you more information about your heart rates than usual. You can get a details view of your heart rate and it will be in sync with your smartphone through an Amazfit app. The app also analyzes the report and let you know do you need to take medical prescription or not.
Heart Rate sensor
The Amazfit 1S has a dedicate Heart Rate sensor chip so it is a bit of a typical pulse sensor utilizes light to enlighten your veins and it fundamentally watches the blood experiencing. Proceeding onward to the battery life very little good. The 95mAh of battery perform great if you use this on regular basis. It provides the 4-5 Days of battery backup if you are using this watch for all day. There is no quick charge available for this band so it takes 2 hours to get completely charge.
