THE GOOD

• More than doubles iPhone battery life
• Thin and light
• Lightning connector on outside of case
• Battery-status indicator in Notifications pane
• Grippy soft-touch material

THE BAD

• Doesn’t ship with headphone jack extender
• No status lights on outside of case
• No power switch
• Unattractive rear hump

VERDICT

Apple’s first battery case is not the most attractive, but it will more than double the battery life of the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6s.
