Apple announces AirPods Max headphones – and they’re very expensive

After years (quite literally) of rumours and speculation Apple has finally announced the AirPods Max over-ears, and they come with a expensive price tag.

The AirPods Max have been revealed. Apple’s first stab at a pair of over-ear headphones features a custom acoustic design, the H1 chip, Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode, and spatial audio. Available in five different colours, the AirPods Max have a price of £549 and will be available Tuesday, December 15.
