An independent Swiss brand known for its down-to earth, value-forward tool watches, Oris has a plenty of great models to check out.

Consistently churning out winning models in a wide range of collections, Oris is a favorite of both beginning and more experienced watch collectors alike. The independent Swiss brand has a focus on value and a down-to-earth attitude that’s a bit different from the big companies owned by large conglomerates. Oris is no upstart, however, tracing its founding to 1904 in the Swiss town of Hölstein.

Considering its back catalog that spans over a hundred years, you can expect vintage re-releases from Oris — and you won’t be disappointed — but the brand also has thoroughly modern collections. Between diving, aviation, motorsport and “culture” ranges, Oris consistently offers solid build and strong personality in watches ideal for filling out a collection or to serve as your daily wear.
