The Onyx Boox Nova3 Color ($419.99) makes the best of its color e-ink screen, juggling full-color comics, magazines, PDFs, and news apps with aplomb. Unfortunately, the beautiful display suffers from a ghosting problem so bad that it’s probably a dealbreaker. Onyx may eventually be able to improve this with a software update; until then, you’ll be stuck hitting the manual refresh button a lot.
