When Apple announced the new iPad mini (2021) it came as a bit of a surprise that it used the latest and greatest Apple chipset, the A15 Bionic. The tablet’s predecessor, the iPad mini (2019), had an A12 Bionic, which is the iPhone chipset from 2018.
