Alcatel A310 tablet first impressions

Tablets don’t launch as often as smartphones. The only tablet that gets an almost annual refresh is the iPad. We haven’t seen anything from Sony, Samsung or any other player in the tablet market in a while which has left a lull. The same can be said about the budget tablet segment. The budget tablet segment hasen’t seen an annual refresh cycle. Today we have with us the Alcatel A310. The tablet will be a Flipkart exclusive and will be priced at Rs 11,999. As a part of the launch offer the customers can avail Rs 1000 cash back on Flipkart (applicable for all prepaid transaction). To add to this you can get up to 20GB additional Jio data. We have spent a little time with the tablet and here are our first impressions. Just to give you some perspective, for a budget of Rs 12,000 you can get some pretty good smartphones including the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Mi A1, Moto G5 Plus and more.
