Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 6X in China a few days back and there is a possibility that the device might make its way onto Indian shores. The device’s predecessor, the Mi 5X, was launched in India as the Mi A1, so there is a chance that this new device might be the Mi A2. The Xiaomi Mi A1 was the first smartphone by the company that offered stock Android as it was a part of Google Android One Program. It’s possible that Xiaomi may follow suit with the Mi A2 if the company decides to launch the phone in India.
Another thing to note was that the Xiaomi Mi A1 was priced quite competitively and was only a few thousand Rupees more expensive than the Redmi Note 4.
