Xiaomi MI 12 will Use LPDDR5X RAM Memory

The JEDEC Solid State Technology Association, a global leader in the development of standards for the global microelectronics industry, has just announced the new STANDARD JESD209-5B for “Generation 5 Low Power Double Rate” (LPDDR5) DRAM memory, or LPDDR5X memory.

LPDDR5X has three major changes, including a rate increase from 6400Mbps to 8533Mbps, TX/RX equalisation for improved signal integrity, and improved reliability with new adaptive refresh management.
