Android 11 is around the corner but while a host of Redmi Note 8 Pro owners wait for the Android 10 update, new information points towards the phone’s chances of receiving the Android 11 being incredibly slim.
Xiaomi began sending out the global Android 10 update back in late February. The rollout has been incredibly checkered, though, as most owners seem to have yet to receive the update. Android 11 is already around the corner, however, but it would seem that the Redmi Note 8 Pro is unlikely to partake in that feast.
When quizzed on the Mi forums, a moderator confirmed that the Redmi Note 8 Pro is unlikely to receive the Android 11 update at all.
