Cherry Mobile recently launched three new Flare devices – the Flare S6, Flare S6 Selfie, and the Flare S6 Plus. Along with it though, is the debut of the company’s new Android-based operating system called the Cherry OS. Let’s take it for a spin to see what it has to offer.
New interface
Cherry Mobile has been using a close-to-stock Android in their previous devices. While it’s light on the device, it already feels outdated. Cherry OS, which is already at version 2.0, brings a cleaner and modern look to their devices with colorful icons and easy to navigate interface.
It uses a combination of multiple home screens and an app drawer, meaning the installed apps are readily available on the home screen so you just need to swipe to access them. The app drawer, on the other hand, will bring out the apps in alphabetical order.
