Apple has released the iPhone SE 2, a mid-range iPhone that carries the SE name, but is actually much more like an updated iPhone 8 than the original iPhone SE.
It’s been described as a defensive play by analysts, an attempt by Apple to prevent iOS users from jumping ship and picking up a mid-range Android phone instead − and there are some excellent ones to choose from. However, we expect it will still sell very well.
