Starmobile UP Xtreme Hands-On Review : First Impressions

Starmobile recently announced their newest entry-level budget smartphone that features a tough glass called XtremeScreen — the Starmobile UP Xtreme. Check out our hands-on, first impressions of the device here.

The Starmobile UP Xtreme looks like a typical entry-level smartphone. It has the usual front panel with large bezels which isn’t appealing to the eyes nowadays.

At the front is the 5-inch HD display with 2.5D XtremeScreen. The company said that it can withstand scratches, drops (1.8m max), heavy impacts (2m, 32g objects), and pressure (30kg). On top of it are the dual-LED flash, call speaker, and the 8MP front camera. At the bottom are the capacitive buttons with unusual designs.
