Samsung’s third folding phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 2, costs $1,999. That’s a high price, but the Z Fold 2 is also the most elegant take on the most innovative new smartphone form factor we’ve seen in years. It also does what a third-generation product should: It keeps the great ideas from the first Fold, fixes the obvious flaws, adds some learnings from the Galaxy Z Flip, and translates all of that into a folding phone that has the right flagship specs for the price and a real point of view.
