OnePlus Nord: The fabled budget king may have a surprise sibling at launch

OnePlus finally confirmed the existence of the OnePlus Nord in June, prompting a slew of leaks and rumours to roll in for the OnePlus mid-ranger.

The Nord (previously known as the OnePlus Z or OnePlus 8 Lite) is set to be the company’s most affordable entry for the 2020 smartphone market and we can’t wait to see how it compares to other cheap phones coming out this season. Here’s everything we know so far.

OnePlus is marketing the Nord as a more budget-friendly alternative to its flagship OnePlus 8. This means the handsets main competition will come in the form of Apple’s iPhone SE 2 and Google’s yet-to-be-announced Pixel 4a.
