While flagship smartphones are certainly fun to use, it’s the budget segment that’s been the most exciting this year. The fact that Xiaomi has managed to overtake Samsung in terms of smartphone shipments is testament to the ever-increasing demand in the budget space. As manufacturers try to one-up each other, the consumer has benefited the most.
