Google has a big job on its hands with the Pixel 5. Pixel 4 did not go well, to say the least. While the company has some goodwill from the wallet-friendly Pixel 3a and recent follow-up Pixel 4a, the company now needs to nail its flagship vision.
Google Pixel phones are renowned for their camera and even the much-maligned Pixel 4 still succeeded in that department. However, it was in many other areas that it came in short, including the truly woeful battery life.
Rumours have swirled about the Pixel 5, such as speculation Google may no longer shoot for premium flagship heights and, instead, focus on a more modest all-rounder.
