Carbon 1 MK II: The carbon fibre smartphone is now a lot cheaper and produced in Germany

Carbon Mobile has relocated the production of the Carbon 1 MK II to Germany. The world’s first carbon fibre smartphone is now cheaper too, and by quite a margin at that.

Six months ago, Carbon Mobile launched the Carbon 1 MK II, the world’s first smartphone made from carbon fibre. While Carbon Mobile touted its smartphone as being particularly thin and light at 6.3 mm and 125 g, respectively, those attributes did not coincide with rigidity.
