Apple’s latest App Store policy change has developers up in arms

Several App Store developers have claimed that Apple will remove their applications within 30 days unless they are updated as part of a drive to improve the quality of the marketplace. One developer posted (opens in new tab) a screenshot of an email they received from the company, which stated: “This app has not been updated in a significant amount of time and is scheduled to be removed from sale in 30 days. No action is required to remain available to users who have already downloaded the app.
