Adding 5G to the Galaxy S20 will cost £100, Samsung says

The Samsung Galaxy S20 series is finally here, and it is arguably the first mainstream phone to go all-in on 5G.

But 5G has a cost and we could be in for a year of even pricier phones as the switch to the next-gen networks becomes more popular. During a chat with Trusted Reviews, Dan Benjamin, Head of Product & Pricing at Samsung said that adding 5G to a phone means “there tends to be about a £100 step-up.”
