2019 Harley-Davidson Sportster Superlow vs. 2019 Honda Shadow Phantom Comparison: Two Classic Cruisers

When it comes to cruiser sales, Harley-Davidson rules the roost, with Honda leading the way from the Far East. Both the Sportster and Shadow names have long histories. The Harley-Davidson Sportster line debuted in 1957, with the Honda Shadow family joining the fray in 1983.

The current Harley-Davison Evolution 883 motor debuted in 1986 and Honda brought its 745cc engine to the party in 1997. Suffice to say, the 2019 Harley-Davidson Sportster Superlow and the 2019 Honda Shadow Phantom are veteran designs overdue for comparison.
