G-Sync is NVIDIA’s proprietary visual sync technology, used in their branded gaming displays. Much like the standard VSync tech utilized by most modern games and displays, G-Sync is meant to better synchronize a display’s refresh rate with a game’s frame rate. This helps to eliminate annoying visual glitches like screen tearing, stuttering, and other artifacts.
