Why the Mac’s biggest year ever still won’t give us what we want

The past 16 months have been incredible for the Mac. It started in November 2020 with the impressive M1 introduction, and just when the buzz started to fade, Apple introduced a revamped 24-inch M1 iMac in May 2021. A few months after that, the M1 Pro and Max and a totally redesigned MacBook Pro blasted onto the scene.
