Silicon Power’s UD70 (starts at $109.99 for 1TB; $195.99 for the 2TB version tested) is an M.2 internal solid-state drive geared to DIY system builders, casual gamers, video editors, and really anyone looking to upgrade a compatible PC. It supports 256-bit hardware-based encryption and includes Silicon Power’s own SSD utility suite. The UD70’s performance in our benchmark tests was lackluster but adequate; the drive’s main attraction is its relatively high capacity for a modest price, making it attractive to budget-minded shoppers.
