NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti: Details about 20 GB VRAM cards revealed by BIOS leak

NVIDIA may have released the RTX 3080 Ti as a 12 GB card, but it and AIBs were developing 20 GB cards. A leaked BIOS has confirmed a few aspects about the unreleased variant, including its ludicrous 450 W power limit.

The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is one of NVIDIA’s stranger Ampere graphics cards. Launched in June for US$1,199, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti offers 12 GB of GDDR6X VRAM with a GA102 GPU. Essentially, the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti successor is a scaled-back GeForce RTX 3090 with half the VRAM. However, NVIDIA developed a 20 GB version at some stage, hands-on photos of which leaked last month.
