Microsoft has officially announced the Surface Laptop Go, a new 12.5-inch laptop that’s essentially a smaller and more affordable version of the Surface Laptop 3. 

The Surface Laptop Go has a starting price of $549 (UK pricing yet to be confirmed) and is aimed at casual users, students and office workers who just need a laptop for basic tasks and web browsing. 

The 12.45-inhch touch-enabled screen is slightly smaller than the 13-inch panel found on the Surface Laptop 3.
