Since November last year, MediaTek has been releasing a wide range of Dimensity chipsets such as Dimensity 1000, Dimensity 1000L, Dimensity 1000+, Dimensity 820, Dimensity 720, and Dimensity 800U to power mid-range to high-end phones in China. Fresh information reveals that the Taiwanese chipmaker is working on a new chipset with the model name MT689X.
