Unfortunately no gaming tests, but we are still getting a first look at more relevant benchmarks like video encoding, CPU rendering in Blender and PC Mark. Of course, Alder Lake is dominating in the single core Cinebench R23 test, but beyond that, performance is either on par or slightly lower compared to the competition. It all might come down to pricing, as Intel’s models seem to be at least $100 cheaper than the AMD counterparts, and the i5-12600K could indeed emerge as a best buy.
