Intel Tiger Lake launch window revealed by HP

Following the release of the AMD Ryzen 4000, Intel has some catching up to do when it comes to mobile processors. Back at CES 2020, the company announced its next-gen Tiger Lake chip but we’ve yet to get a full reveal – however, a recent HP launch may have revealed a release window.

At CES 2020, Intel indicated we would see the launch of the new chip before the year was out. Now, the recent reveal of the HP ZBook Create seems to have given us a more specific time frame for the next-gen processor.

Aside from the release date, there’s still plenty we don’t know – but also plenty we do. From knowing the “new” 10nm+ architecture and expected support for Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6 to not yet knowing detailed specs and pricing.
