HP Elite Dragonfly Business-Convertible Review: Lighter than 1 kg only with the smaller battery

A real EliteBook? HP introduced the Elite Dragonfly as a convertible with a weight of under 1 kg. But is the light business convertible really a full-fledged EliteBook, or is it a reduced version that is primarily supposed to look good on a desk? We review the premium convertible with the bigger 4-cell battery, which increases the weight to more than 1.1 kg.

The HP Elite Dragonfly is a lightweight business convertible, which is offered in addition to the familiar EliteBook-series. The focus of the business convertible is definitely the mobility with SKUs tipping the scale at under 1 kg. Our test sample, however, is equipped with the larger 4-cell battery, so the weight is lifted to little more than 1.1 kg. The combination of the larger battery and the low-power display on our test unit should be the best option for long battery runtimes.
