Apex Legends is a popular battle royal game that is also free-to-play. The title use Valve’s Source engine that is pushed to its limits in this game. For example, CS:GO and Team Fortress are also Source-based games but they are much lighter than Apex Legends.

One of the main reasons is the large map, which is available for exploration as soon as you jump off the plane.
