The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 has finally arrived, bringing the popular Ampere graphics architecture down to what is arguably a budget price. With this new card, Nvidia is hoping to convince owners of the GTX 1060 – the most prolific graphics card in the world today, according to the Steam Hardware Survey – to finally make an upgrade to a modern graphics card. But with its increased price, that’s going to be a hard sell.
Without a doubt, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 is way faster than the GTX 1060. After all, nearly five years have passed since the GTX 1060 blew up the scene back in August 2016.
