The AMD CPU space is quite exciting, with many chips offering decent performance, despite their low price. They really started a revolution in the field, stopping the hegemony of Intel, and quickly started carving a space for themselves, until they themselves became the hegemony, by simply offering better products.
Today we have two AMD processors, which use the same architecture, despite being branded as different generations.
