We have the new mid-range Ryzen 5 4500U and last year’s flagship Ryzen 7 3700U.

Firstly, for the younger Ryzen 5 4500U. The CPU was released in the middle of 2020. It has two more cores than its older sibling so the core count rises to 6. However, it also has 6 threads – 2 less than the 3700U. The base clock speed and the max clock speed are at the same spot at 2.3GHz and 4.0GHz respectively.
