The Back to the Future movies have been a cultural phenomenon ever since they burst onto the scene the 1980s. Vehicles, of course, played a vital role in the trilogy; the films featured rides ranging the gamut from a hoverboard to a 19th-century steam locomotive. But the movies have fueled a particular brand of automotive fetishism around two very different cars: the DeLorean DMC-12, which served as a time machine, and the 1985 Toyota pickup that hero Marty McFly drove.
