VW Microbus tipped to return with EV option

One of the most iconic vehicles that VW has produced in its history is the Microbus. Rumors are circulating that VW is aiming to bring a modern version of that Microbus back to dealerships and that the car will debut next January during CES 2016. VW has produced concepts in the past that were very Microbus in style, most recently as the Bulli concept.

This time rumors suggest that the Microbus that debuts at CES 2016 will be an EV with a range perhaps as high as 200 miles per charge. The source of the rumor says that VW will offer the Microbus in gas and diesel versions as well.
