Upgraded 2021 Kia Stinger breaks out

Fresh look and more tech for rear-drive Korean sports sedan, but Aussies will miss out on upgraded engines

The first major upgrade for the Kia Stinger since its launch in mid-2017 has been revealed, bringing interior and exterior design updates and more standard equipment, but no new engines for the popular rear-drive fastback sedan.

Confirmed for Australian release in the fourth-quarter of this year – think October – the upgraded 2021 Kia Stinger will bring redesigned headlights and tail-lights, plus a refreshed interior with an upgraded infotainment system.

However, Kia Australia has confirmed the Stinger’s midlife makeover will not be accompanied by powertrain changes, at least in our market.
