10th – Suzuki Vitara
While the original Suzuki Vitara was a tiny, rugged 4×4, the new version is more of a rival to city-friendly models, such as the Nissan Juke, Renault Captur and CitroënC4 Cactus. Spacious, neatly finished and decent to drive, it’s our favourite small SUV for less than £15,000.
