The 2020 Chevy Silverado Duramax Diesel Is the Most Fuel-Efficient Truck in Its Class

The 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has just earned serious bragging rights as the most fuel-efficient full-size truck on the market. This is achieved with the newly available 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel inline-six, which has an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 23 miles per gallon in the city and 33 mpg on the highway for rear-wheel-drive models. If you upgrade to 4-wheel drive, it’s 23 mpg city/29 mpg hwy, which is still very impressive.
