The 2018 Nissan GT-R Track Edition Is Best When Driven Hard

Nissan’s track star is a bit more refined for daily use, but it’s only worth the big sticker price at extra-legal speeds.

Essentially the same brute it has been since arriving in the U.S. market for the 2009 model year, the 2018 Nissan GT-R Track Edition retains its tuner-car demeanor and outrageous performance abilities. It’s been tweaked and amended and polished throughout the years, all without changing its muscular and mechanical character. The most recent reworking came for 2017 when, along with a few small changes were added, the Track Edition trim level returned to the lineup after a two-year absence.
