Top-selling veteran compact SUV gets bigger engine, familiar names

Australia’s top-selling compact SUV, the Mitsubishi ASX, has been boosted with a more powerful engine option and new variant names well-known from the company’s history.

A 2.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with 12 per cent more power (123kW v 110kW) and 13 per cent more torque (222Nm vs 197Nm) compared to the familiar 2.0-litre ASX is a key addition for model year 2020.
