Hyundai Staria Lounge on wish list, exec concedes styling is polarising

The super-luxury Hyundai Staria Lounge is under consideration for Australia – as is a petrol hybrid version – as the company acknowledges the bold futuristic design divides opinion.

Having just launched the 2022 Hyundai Staria people mover – the company’s first new family-freighter in 14 years, with technology not seen before in the class – Hyundai is already planning an even more opulent version.

The Hyundai Staria Lounge seven-seater – with two captains chairs in the middle row rather the a three-seat layout in the standard eight-seat version – is available overseas but yet to be introduced in Australia.
