Evo name to return with new Mitsubishi Outlander

Iconic high-performance badge to be reused on powerful version of car-maker’s latest plug-in hybrid SUV

Mitsubishi is secretly developing a high-performance successor to the Pajero Evolution that will be based on its latest Outlander plug-in hybrid.

According to Best Car Japan, a concept for the Outlander Evolution was planned to be launched at the October Tokyo motor show but, following the show’s cancellation, Mitsubishi has pushed back the launch to June 2022.
