Cupra gearing up for Australia with fixed-price online sales, electric car to be fast-tracked

The Volkswagen-owned Cupra brand is a step closer to launching in Australia early next year with three models – and an electric hatchback will be fast-tracked for our market.

The Volkswagen-owned but Spanish-bred Cupra brand is gearing up to launch in Australia with three models from the first half of next year.

And the global boss of Cupra says an electric hatchback is being fast-tracked to be in local showrooms by the end of 2022 or in early 2023, possibly arriving ahead of the Volkswagen ID3 on which it is based.
