2022 Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series orders scrapped, start again

Toyota says it is still taking orders for the new LandCruiser 300 Series, but it won’t allocate vehicles or provide an estimate on timing until it has a more accurate forecast.

Toyota Australia says media reports of a four-year wait for the new Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series are wide of the mark – but concedes it does not know how long it will take to deliver on new and existing orders.

Toyota Australia today apologised to customers and outlined the reasons behind the extensive delays – which are also affecting other Top 10 brands – namely the semiconductor shortage that is crippling the global automotive industry.
