The electric pick-up market is set to take off, with at least three new models slated for launch in the next 12 months.

Electric vehicle start-up Rivian has built the USA’s first production electric ute, beating Tesla, Ford, and General Motors to the punch.

At least seven examples of its R1T pickup – finished in ‘Rivian Blue’, and featuring an optional off-road bumper kit – rolled off the brand’s Illinois assembly line overnight.
