2022 Polestar 3 will be based on Precept concept

Swedish EV car-maker says sleek new SUV coupe will rival both the Jaguar I-PACE and Tesla Model S

Swedish premium brand Polestar has announced that its recent Precept concept will inspire the new Polestar 3, an SUV that will take the battle to Tesla’s Model S and the Jaguar I-PACE.

Originally it was thought the striking Precept might preview the Polestar 4 but, according to design boss Max Missoni, it’s the next Polestar 3 that will borrow much from the well-received show car that was originally created for the ill-fated Geneva motor show.
